TransTape is a skin-friendly, elastic adhesive tape used for body binding (binding/tucking).
It is water- and sweat-resistant, so it can be worn during many strenuous activities—for example, while swimming in the sea or pool, showering, or bathing. TransTape dries naturally on its own, but we recommend pressing a towel against the chest rather than rubbing it back and forth to dry, as this can cause the edges to curl and reduce the adhesive’s strength.
The tape is intended for single use, and BWYA advises against wearing it for more than 8 hours. However, some people choose to wear it for several days. According to other manufacturers, it can typically be worn for about 5 days, depending on your level of activity and how often you shower. Nevertheless, we recommend giving your skin time to breathe between applications—even if it’s just overnight. There is no strict guideline for how long to wear it; what matters is how comfortable you feel! Some people wear the tape for only a day or two, while others can wear it for a week. It's a personal decision.
The rolls come in four different widths:
5 cm, 7.5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm.
Each roll is 5 meters long and lasts 1–3 months, depending on activity level, chest size, and frequency of changing the tape. Average usage typically lasts about 2 months.

Instructions for use:
Make sure you do not develop an allergy to the material. To test this, cut a small piece and apply it to the front of your arm. Wait eight hours and check for any reaction.
TransTape is an adhesive and may cause redness. Use a mild, non-irritating oil such as jojoba or sweet almond oil to remove it, and massage the area with moisturizer after removal. Do not reapply TransTape to irritated skin.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Incorrect use of TransTape can cause short- and long-term side effects. TransTape is safest when applied correctly. Please read all instructions before use or contact us for more information. Do not apply TransTape to injured or broken skin. Doing so may cause further irritation, blisters, and open wounds, which, if not treated properly, can lead to infections. TransTape should never be wrapped completely around the torso—see application video and package insert. Rare but possible signs of rib deformation include shortness of breath, chest pain, or abnormal breathing.
