Solidarity Pricing - our sliding scale

At Other Nature we are committed to a politics of accessibility and redistribution, and know that high quality sex toys are unattainable to many, especially those in our communities whose pleasure and sexualities we aim to center in our work. Because of this, we offer a solidarity pricing scale based on an honor system, which we trust people to use fairly and honestly.
Below you can find two discount codes, which can be used during check out to receive either 10% or 15% off of all our products, except books. You can also let us know you’d like to benefit from them when making a purchase at the shop.

Please consider the following statements as an orientation as to where you fall on the scale:

Regular price

  • I am comfortably able to meet all my basic economic needs*
  • I will inherit wealth and/or property
  • I own my own home or property OR I rent a higher-end property
  • I own a car
  • I am employed or do not need to work to meet my needs
  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs
  • I have access to financial savings
  • I have an expendable income
  • I can always buy new items
  • I can afford to go on holiday and take time off

10% discount

  • I am a low-wage worker or self-employed
  • I have to pay my own healthcare and it makes up a large part of my income
  • I will inherit a little wealth from my family but not enough to secure my future / live comfortably in old age
  • I stress about meeting my basic needs but mostly attain them
  • I am disabled and/or chronically ill, and this sometimes affects my ability to meet my basic needs 
  • I have relatively stable housing but rent makes up a big portion of my income
  • I receive housing support or benefits
  • I might have debt but it doesn’t prevent me from meeting my basic needs
  • I have little expendable income and I am very careful with my spending

15% discount

  • I am unemployed or a low-wage worker
  • I cannot afford to pay for my own healthcare
  • I won’t inherit any wealth and/or property
  • I stress about meeting my basic needs and don’t always achieve them
  • I am disabled and/or chronically ill, and this greatly affects my ability to meet my basic needs 
  • I don't have stable housing orand I receive housing support or benefits
  • I am a migrant or asylum-seeker from the Global South and/or fleeing war and poverty
  • I receive social and/or disability benefits
