Care
Bio:
Care (they/them) is a light-skinned Black trans non binary abolitionist somatic practitioner, artist & doula who works on re-membering embodied experiences of awe, connection, miracles & care. Their work blooms at the intersection of Black interiority, somatic memory and queer intimacies.
Always reflecting on their longing for home and belonging, they create rituals & ceremonies as portals through which displaced people can step into a healing, imaginative space unburdened by colonialism's many violences. Their practice draws from ancestral knowledge and seeks to re-enact and/or recreate rituals. Their practice is grounded in an intimate relationship with the land, ancestors, Spirit, the Elements & the more than human.
Care studies, professionally practices and teaches astrology, tarot, Reiki, hypnosis, somatics, Transformative Justice and doula work in Berlin, Germany. They are the creator of the radio show called The Somatics of Care hosted by Refuge Worldwide and the creator of the Ancestral Healing Tarot Deck.
Louie Läuger
Bio:
Louie (they/them) works somewhere in the intersection of illustration, education and feminism. They most enjoy drawing things that make people think, “oh wow, I finally understand that!” when they read and look at it. When Louie isn't illustrating, they're probably doing pottery. You can find them on Instagram @tenderrebellions.
Clara Gilod
Bio:
When Clara (she/her) noticed that the families depicted in her son's games didn't look anything like their family, she decided to do something about it.
She illustrated Merry Families, a fun take on an old French classic, showing kids some of the many constellations of rainbow families: queer, multicultural, single-parent, families without kids, and family members of every ability. Some families have cats and dogs too!
This representation helps children of queer parents see other families just like theirs. And all children can develop empathy and understanding of other identities that have been largely underrepresented in games.
Anton Cronauer
Bio:
Katja Anton Cronauer (he/him) was raised in villages and a small town in southwest Germany by two artists. He was allowed to rollick about in pants, play in the mud, and, longer than other kids assigned female at birth, was permitted swimming trunks without a bikini top. He studied Computer Science and then went to Canada, where he studied activism and the internet for his Ph.D.
Today he lives in Berlin, is an artist, and runs trans*fabel, a web shop with art and books on the topic Beyond the Binary Gender System. In his art, he reconstructs oil and acrylic paintings into digitally drawn animals that defy binary expectations.
