Polyamory, non-monogomy, relationship anarchy and open relationships are not always easy in practice. We do not always have many good examples of what healthy versions of these relationships can look like - therefore it can be hard to even imagine! In a world where monogamy is the norm, come together for this Poly Discussion group where we will explore some of the complexities and hear some real world examples of healthy relationships.
What can I expect?
A warm friendly environment for discussion facilitated by experienced relationship anarchists and sex educator(s). An opportunity to learn from others and hear how others tackled similar problems. Trust, jealousy, compersion and life planning. We can talk about all of these diverse topics and their influence on our relationships.
Whether you’re just starting your non-monogomy journey, have doubts about any alternative theory of relationships or you have many stories to tell, join us for a cosy evening of open sharing.
Your Facilitator
Ann Antidote is an artist working with Japanese bondage, video, performance, installation and sound, mostly in collective temporary autonomous zones. Active in the promotion of polyamorous, queer and kinky/sex-positive lifestyles as options worthy of respect, she integrates a social justice approach into her artistic production and teaching. She has taught Japanese bondage (shibari) since 2011, and has been learning it avidly since 2009.
