For us, Other Nature is a labour of love, a safe space, a community space and part of Berlin's queer-feminist history. In the current political climate, our existence is more important than ever, and not to be taken for granted.
Like many other community projects, however, we are currently fighting for our survival. We hear so often from our customers how much they love our concept and how grateful they are for our existence. Unfortunately, this has not been reflected in our figures this year – quite the contrary. Since moving in 2024, we have made an average of 30% less than in the previous year, and currently as much as 50% less.
We all want to continue for at least the next 14 years, not only to maintain Other Nature, but to allow it to grow further. We are convinced that this project is more relevant than ever and has not yet reached its full potential. With your support, we would like to continue to give many other people the opportunity to experience and help shape this very special place.
