About the event:

Award-winning comedian and author Rosie Wilby is coming to Other Nature! This is Rosie’s very first time in Berlin, so join us in giving her a warm, Other Nature-style welcome: that’s right, tea and good vibes for all!

On October 13th, Rosie will be reading from her book Is Monogamy Dead?, a funny, thoughtful, and fascinating account of Rosie's very personal quest to grapple with the science of modern relationships.

Rosie will read select passages from Is Monogamy Dead?, followed by a short Q&A and book signing.

About the book:

Is Monogamy Dead? (Accent Press) follows Rosie’s TEDx talk of the same name, along with the BBC Radio 4 piece A New Currency of Commitment and a trilogy of solo shows investigating love and relationships.

The book was shortlisted in the Memoir category for the Diva Literary Awards 2017 and longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize 2018. It has also received positive coverage from Mail on Sunday, The Spectator, The Amorist, The Telegraph, Metro, Grazia, 6 Music, BBC London, Hot Press, The Irish Times, Guilty Feminist, The High Low show, Morning Star and more.

About Rosie Wilby:

Rosie Wilby has appeared on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends, Summer Nights, Four Thought, Midweek, The Human Zoo and Woman's Hour and at festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Green Man, Larmer Tree and Latitude. She was a finalist at Funny Women 2006 and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007 and she's been touring acclaimed solo shows internationally ever since, performing in New York, Los Angeles and Sydney and building a global word-of-mouth army of fans.
